another adventure unfolds
I just have to say that I’m so happy right now. I don’t care that I have an econ problem set to do, a few hundred more pages of history reading left, and a paper due soon (actually, I do care, but that’s not the point). Earlier Saturday night, the Princeton Mock Trial Team ran around campus screaming and going door to door to each freshman who made the team. They chanted our names in sync as they ran down dorm hallways and banged loudly on our doors. They greeted us with hugs and congratulations before moving on to the next freshman dorm. The mock trial crowd grew larger as the team made its way around campus, and the excitement kept growing. There are few words that can describe how welcome and loved I felt. And that’s something innately special about this group beyond trophies or external recognition.
I am nervous, excited, and anxious, but mainly happy to now be able to call myself a member of Princeton Mock Trial :)
